Suspension proposes the creation of an extended space-image/time that is the result of real time manipulation of images and sounds previously recorded combined with live images created during the performance. Generally speaking, it investigates the possibility of extending the image within itself and creating new sounds and images from this same original one. For that it was created small cells of movement that when manipulated, produce different tempos and rhythms, which can be orchestrated into a play, an audiovisual composition.

The main idea is that the images are to follow the sound according to its course, chaining and rhythm. In order to achieve that, these sounds, originated from the initial image itself and/or from music sampler, noises, etc., on top of putting all into context and creating an ambience, must create tension, suggest atmospheres, knit comments and above all, engage in dialogues during improvisation times.

The performer on stage is the one who conducts, acts physically and presents the initial live act and then later explores it electronically. It is he, with his untrained body, whom makes the counterpoint between the brief moment of his real suspension (which happens live) and the suspension created by the electronic extension of the chained cells produced by the live editing.
